रागादिरोगान् सततानुषक्तान् अशेषकायप्रसृतानशेषान्।

Kharjuradi mantha-a classical summer drink!!

This preparation is an easy to prepare summer drink that helps to resist the weakness caused during this season.It is a classical as well as homely preparation with easily available ingredients which can be used instead of the packed drinks. Ingredients: Dates(kharjoora) Pomogranate Grapes Malabar tamarind(കുടംപുളി) Tamarind(പുളി) Gooseberry(നെല്ലിക്ക) Sugar Water Method of preparation : All the ingredients except water is taken and pounded.This pounded drug is mixed with 4 times(of the pounded mixture) of cold water.Now this mixture is churned manually or mechanically until the cold water turns warm. Dose: nearly 80 ml can be consumed by a normal person. Uses: this drink is effective in case of intoxication as well as provides good strength.
